Planning a wedding during COVID has tested our patience, vision, and plans, but though it all our Vendors continue to amaze us. I have been sharing a few of our vendors over the past few months, but today I wanted to put them all into a single blog post because it’s with their grace and understanding we were able to move both our location and date and pull off a wedding that is a beautiful as I imagined and safe for our loved ones.
From day one of wedding planning, I could not wait to use local businesses!
Cara was introduced to use by our friends’ Chantell and Kevin. Cara’s support optimism and unique ability to create calm in the chaos with her problem-solving has been a constant source of peace of mind. I can honestly say I am not sure what we would have done without her. Let’s be honest probably eloped in our backyard. As the days grow closer, I know that with her teams’ support the day will be perfect!
The magic Carly creates behind the lens is hands down incredible! I am so honored to have a friend capture the intimate moments of our day so I can show our children one day, and re-live this day over and over. On top of our videography, her team is also facilitating a live stream of our ceremony so some of our friends and families can celebrate with us virtually and honor their health and safety.
I was introduced to Jennifer Griffith through dear friends. There something so intimate and romantic about the candid moments that Jennifer captures that I just fell in love with and knew I wanted her to capture our special day! Not to mention our engagement pictures have brought me so much joy.
I first met Malori through The Foundress, a Phoenix a women’s networking group, where we were both mentors. Malori’s fun-loving energy is infectious and her floral vision is unquestioned. Malori prides herself on creating art-focused florals for Arizona gatherings. I can’t wait to show photos of our wedding day with our beautiful arrangements.
My mom and I first heard Michael Land play at Junk In the Trunk (a pop-up vintage market). We loved him so much they bought two of his CD’s. Will and I listened to them on the way home from Flagstaff one afternoon (when we thought we would be getting married there) and we just knew he would make our ceremony and cocktail hour special. I can’t wait to share the songs we have selected for our ceremony!
Will and I joined Katie and Emily (two of my bridesmaids and brides-to-be) to see their show in Phoenix. We are so happy to have them be the soundtrack to our unforgettable night…now Will and I just need to settle on a first dance song!
Bella Lily Bridal is a beautiful bridal boutique in Glendale. While Brenda began as a client, I am fortunate to say her boutique was the one and only place I tried on wedding dresses. While the dress was far from the style I expected to fall in love with, it’s absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle.
Tailored in White also began as one of my clients, turned wedding dress tailor. Cora’s passion for her brides is obvious and her team did an incredible job altering my dress so it fits like a glove for our big day!
Chantell is the owner of my favorite boutique in Phoenix. Our friendship has grown over the years (& so has my closet). Vida Moulin dressed our sweet flower girls!
Cricket & Ruby is a local women-owned business. Elena made my dream of the sweetest “old man outfits” for our ring bearers a reality.
Will and I registered at Urbana, one of our favorite local businesses in Arizona. While I truly don’t feel like we need much since we are already homeowners, their store is filled with beautiful home decor, bar supplies, and kitchen goods. Plus with their beautiful new website I can log in to edit and view our registry!
